2012 is around the corner

Hey bloggers,

How are you all? How was christmas? During Christmas, my family and I were in a beach resort until a sudden rainfall had taken over so we couldn't head to the beach. We later on did get to play in the beach and enjoy the sun but as many people know Christmas is usually pictured with snow but mine instead was more rain than snow. You see the difference between these two words? Anyways, I have set up my Christmas tree which looks different compared to last year because there are lots more decorations.

I apologize for the quality of the picture but I didn't get time to take a better one so I hope you get the idea. Anyways, I hope you continue to have a nice holiday and a happy new year.

Where are you all going for vacation during the break? Given 3 week break, I'm planning
to stay here and spend time with my friend who came from Dubai. It has been 2 days since our
vacation started but it feels like time is going really slowly. I don't know the reason why
it is like so. Anyways, we are really unlucky since exactly a week after vacation, we have
our exams, which means that we have to plan over the break. It is so frustrating to find time to
work on my study guides with people roaming around my house. I have to get used to it for another
for another 7 days.

Lord of the Flies

Hello everyone,
If you are wondering by the title, yes, it is about the book. During this month, in English class, we had read the book, 'Lord of the Flies' which talks about the relationship between the children who were stranded in the island as well as the change in society becoming savage. As a project, our class, had to make an island based on reading the book and finding quotes to fit our island. After doing so, I had worked on my project, in last minute of course. I had done it over the weekend and although it wasn't as good as many other people's, it still made the  mark to the good list (according to me). Hopefully, the grades turn out okay, and after all the hard work put into the project, the result should be good.
Today was the last day of school as people in our grade are leaving. Ajay, Faris and Isabelle from our class are leaving and I would like to give a shout out to them since they will be greatly missed in our school. It was truly difficult to say our goodbyes to these people but in the end, we had met with them and gave a good farewell to them all.

When the Sun Goes Down

Hola todos,
I know you must be wondering what is with me. First of all to explain the title of this post, which my friend came up with! Thanks Alana! Anyways, it was because finally we have a longer weekend that what we had before. We officially have a three day weekend. This means that I can catch up with all the shows and of course fit some homework between it now and then. I was thinking what I should do for the holiday other than that though. I had to apologize to a friend who had invited me to a movie night which is a Disney Marathon. How could I ever miss that? Well, I didn't have that choice. I had to play a tournament against extremely great players which is why I needed more practice so I missed this important moment.

Anyways, back to the story. I was thinking that I should watch Breaking Dawn maybe but Im not sure because I wasn't a big fan of the twilight series except for some of the characters in the movie. If anyone of you have watched it, let me know. I made a promise to my friend Danielle that I have to watch it by the weekend so we can trash it or compliment it!
Thats basically all I had to say. I know this was a really different way to end the post. Let me ask you a question because I was wondering and it is in topic of the post (in a way).

Hello everybody,
I am not so good with this whole 'blog' idea as you can see. It has been a while since I have written to y'all.

Well, coincidentally, I am also a third culture kid but I am not as funny and interesting the guest speaker who came to our school. Chris was an amazing speaker. I always wanted to improve my public speaking.

And I am happy to say that I will be blogging more often because I have a long 3 day weekend and would love to know what your plans are. Also I will keep you to speed.
