Lake Trip

Its been a long time since I have written to you. So I wanted to let you know that I am in Jakarta now and I have seen my new school which is a lot similar to my previous school. Sadly, I really miss my old school as all my friends are left behind. Its always difficult to move but I know that I wont be alone.

It has been a week since I have moved to Jakarta and the day before yesterday, my sister and I had attended the Orientation in which we had taken a trip to a lake resort along with other new students. I made lot of friends there and hopefully as soon as school starts, it wouldn't be back to the start (to making new friends). Anyways, during the trip, the teachers had arranged bunch of activities to make us more open and outgoing but they ended up making us more bored than usual.
It is so funny how the teachers try too hard to fit in and make stupid jokes.
We had also had to do a lot of trekking and the good thing was that it wasn't too bad since there weren't many trees and there were no leeches so I survived.

What is your favorite sport that you have been watching?

Surprisingly, I have been watching a lot of swimming and little of tennis. India is doing horrible in Olympics so that is embarrasing. We have like a total of 2 medals (1 silver and 1 bronze).

I have arrived in Jakarta and so far my opinion about this place is very pessimistic so I'd prefer to not go venting and contain myself by saying that I wish I was back at Malaysia. To be honest, here it is very different as there is a lot of traffic and it is really warm here so the weather is not according to my liking. Not only that but also, Jakarta seems to be full of buildings and bikes and I feel like its one of the other undeveloped country. I am not sure what to say at this moment but Im really sad to say that I want to go back to Malaysia.

I miss everyone there!!
I will miss my friends more than anything. If you guys are reading this, you should know that I miss you guys!!! :( KEEP IN TOUCH!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Moving

Hello bloggers,
If only I could promise you that I will consistently write to you all but I feel like it is impossible to say. I have exams this upcoming week and I have to start and finish studying for that and also I have to start getting into the packing mood. I am not sure if I had mentioned earlier but I am moving to Jakarta and it is official so I can't imagine what I will be going through during the last week of school.

I am pretty sure it is going to be one of the most dreadful weeks of my life ever. I have been in my school for over 6 years and I feel like moving is the worst thing to undergo right now. Anyways, I know nothing can be done except to stay strong and say goodbyes to everyone.

If any you all are moving, you will know exactly what I feel. It is an excited and a scared feeling at the same time if that makes sense. I dont know why but I feel preoccupied at times about how different the new school is going to be and if anyone will miss me once I do move.

This whole experience is just horrific and I can't wait to just get used to this especially cause this is the worst timing for all of this to commence. Anyways, I hope that you all have a nice week and hopefully you all dont have to go through what I am going through at the moment.

HELP!!!!!

Before, I wasn't sure if you all should know but after the family told us to spread the word, I couldn't think of a better way than share with you all.

A friend in my school, Nayati Moodliar, was abducted yesterday at 7:40 in the morning. The parents and everyone are on the look out all around Kuala Lumpur. And I want your help to spread the word because it is a serious matter. It is unsure if it is a ransom or targeted attack but we defineltely aren't happy with this. He is a nice and kind boy who deserves a normal life and shouldn't be in such problems.

This all started yesterday at 7:30 when the car was already parked at the intersection from Mont Kiara Sofia to the route to Mont Kiara International School. Him walking early because of a band practice, was caught in suprise but these 2 people stepping out of the car surrounding him. He was screaming for help but nobody could do anything. A teacher had witnessed and tried to stop him but was too late. There were workers around the area but couldn't be civilized and nice enough to help him. Therefore yesterday at 7:40, he was pulled into the car and now nowhere to be found.

The parents and friends and all the other schools who don't know him are also in the look out for him. This is a big matter, with our help, this innocent 12 year old boy can return to his family.

If you guys are big tennis fans like me, did you watch the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters Match? It was amazing because the finals was an easy win for NADAL.
He inspires me so much, he has lost to Djokovic about 7-8 times in a consecutively so without bringing in the negativity, he won.
He truly is the king of clay court! :) I love him for that. If you haven't watched it yet, you should check the scores. They were something like, 6-3, 6-1.

I am so happy!! Its the 8th consecutive time that he has won in Monaco!!

It has been a while since I have written to you all but I had something important to share. I know it may not seem important to lot of you since you don't know me but I thought it would be nice to share it with you guys. I am moving to Indonesia in the end of the school year and I am devastated over this situation since I ma going to greatly miss my friends here. :'(
To all of you who know me!
Im going to miss you a lot, there are no words to describe how sad I am to leave. It has been 6 years that I have stayed in Malaysia and now, all of a sudden, finding out that I am moving makes the whole problem start. Indonesia, out of all places, if you guys have been alive for the past few years and were present to know the news, you have no idea the amount of natural disasters in Indonesia.
First there is Earthquake then there is Tsunami then there is Volcano Attacks?!
This is just too much for me. I have heard lot of well, not so good things about that country. I am not trying to offend anyone but honestly speaking, I really don't think me going to Indonesia will be as good as me being in Malaysia.

ENOUGH OF TEARS, now to get to the point of this blog post.. I am sorry to waste your times to that people who don't really care what I said above. ^ that was just me taking time to vent about what has been happening for the past few weeks

I need your help, guys. We are being assigned a project for English, where we are supposed to pick a song that is poetic and then write an argumentative essay about why that song could also be a poem. I really don't know what song to do.
I need YOUR SUGGESTION.
So far I thought of Wonderwall by Oasis, Paradise by Coldplay, Viva la Vida by Coldplay...
I am pretty sure there are better song choices than these, which is why I need your help.

Business Tooth Paste Project

I will make this post short so that you can watch the video below. Just a bit of background information is that we had yet another Business project in which we are supposed make our own toothpaste packaging and advertise it. So the name my group and I came up with is Tasty Tooth. I know the name scares some of you but in reality, we had made a container that looks like a Tooth in ceramic class. This is not a tooth paste but a dental gum that is a chewing gum that cleans tooth. I hope you like our advertisement although was established after great amount of procrastination! :) Enjoy!!

Earring

SEASAC TENNIS

Thanks to me not being very frequent with my blogging, I wanted to say that I was gone for SEASAC tennis (South East Asian Student Activity Conference) in which we had to go to Singapore to play different schools in which as a team, we did better than last year. I was the captain of the team for the first time being first singles and playing against some really great players therefore lost to most but learned lot through the experience. This year we came 7th out of 9 places. Clearly, I doesn't sound like a good thing but sadly since we were put with a group of schools who were undefeatable, it was hard for us to win a match. In the end of the day, we learned lot and we had lot of fun. We played against BPS (Bangkok Patana School), UWC (United World College) and GIS (Garden International School) and had sadly lost to all three of these teams with having a few wins against the schools so we had to play for the 7-8th place against BISJ (British International School, Jakarta) and won. I am really happy with my team and their great effort. Good job guys.

Some of the pictures are really embarrassing but I just wanted to share the moment with you guys. Sorry for the awkward faces guys!

End of Valentines Day

Hello everyone!
How are you all doing? It has been a few weeks since my last post so I finally had the time to update it. How did you spend your Valentine's Day? For me, it was a regular day at school and coming back and getting back to doing home work. Im sure that your day was better used than mine. Anyways, I wanted to tell you all that I am working on an English project in which you have to prepare a speech against a persuading topic. I have picked 'against stereotypes'. If you have any ideas to what I can do to make this project successful, don't care to leave a comment below!
I just looked at my last post and realized that I hadn't updated on what happened with Australian Open. Iam sure that many of you already know what had happened after a long 4-5 hour match Nadal had against Djokovic and it was worth watching. For the first time, I can praise Djokovic and say that he deserved to win but so did Nadal for his hard comeback during the last 3 sets making it a 5 set match.

Australian Open

As you have probably read the title, this is mostly about the tennis tournament in Melbourne, Australia, which is the Australian Open. Who are the people who you are cheering on through this week? I really want Rafael Nadal to win as it obvious by now, I am a huge fan of his and I have been his fan for as long as I watched tennis. His story like many other people's is every inspiring and if you want to know about it you should read his book although it isn't written by him but what do you expect, he doesn't speak good English. Anyways, I have been watching it and I would like to know who your favorites are.
Favorite Player: Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova
People that dislike: Novak Djokovic (this is my opinion but I know that for a while now, his tennis has been remarkable so I am just stating my opinion which is not based on his game but more because of the rivalry between him and Rafa)

Exams

Sorry of my inconsistency of posting in my blog but I had exams which I think I mentioned in my last post. Anyways, today is going to be last exam and I am so happy because it has been a really stressful and tiring week of staying up late and waking up early. Our exams started last week Friday and guess what time it was it was time for Friday the 13th. It is an absurd coincidence that our exam started on that very day. Anyways, I have my Spanish exam today and after that we have freedom till Tuesday until school starts again. So I am happy to tell you guys that I will be posting more often.

It's 2012!

Hello my fellow bloggers,
How are all of you? It has been a couple of days since I have last written to you. And how has this long tragic waiting felt for all of you? It's finally 2012, the year everybody has been worried to see and live through. In my opinion, I don't believe that the end of the world will be this year because there should be many symptoms for that to happen and I haven't seen any huge alters made yet. Anyways, what are your new year resolutions? I usually set resolutions but now I have stopped that since I have realized that this waste process is clearly useless since I never achieve it. So for those who are suffering to the same illness as me (the ones that can't reach their resolutions and expectations), don't set your goals so high and keep it simple. I am serious that this is true. If people ask my resolution I would say to try something different and be different this year so that will not get people behind my backs to see if I did it because everybody changes as time passes. Anyways, I am probably going to be offline from all of you for the next two weeks and I apologize in early for that because I have exams coming up and my school is starting TOMORROW!! I am starting to worry the amount I have studied for my exams since I have basically wasted with working on relaxing and enjoying my holidays. What do you call such people? PROCRASTINATORS!! Yes, everyone, I am a procrastinator because I have so many other things to do that it never hits me that I am procrastinating and I am hoping to change that this year (maybe that could be my resolution). Anyways, yesterday I went to the Coke Factory and don't worry I didn't drink lot of Coke, I just looked around the factory with my friends and how it runs. Maybe in a later post I will explain the trip to all of you since it is quite interesting.And if you want to see the place yourself, I am sorry but you need contact with some people in order to get in. ( My friend's dad is the owner of the factory there therefore allowing me inside). Here is a picture of the trip there.
